This epic journey will take you to two of Uganda’s well-endowed national parks thus the Queen Elizabeth national park where you will enjoy an amazing a boat safari along the Kazinga channel, and a spectacular scenery of the sunset on Lake Edward, and a great game viewing experience in the Ishasha sector and enjoy game drives in the Kasenyi plains and the misty Bwindi National Park for the Gorilla Trekking activity and later to Lake Bunyonyi which is said to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda.
Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide/driver will be ready to receive you and transfer immediately to Queen Elizabeth National Park “the medley of wonders” located in south western Uganda. This safari will give you opportunities to see remarkable landscapes and scenery in Uganda’s countryside. You will pass agricultural fields of different people working or seated by the stalls of crafts or fresh fruits and vegetable markets. You will have a stopover at the Equator monument experiencing life in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres and en-route lunch will be at Igongo cultural center, the home of Ankore culture.

After your early morning breakfast, you will head out for the amazing game drive through the Kasenyi plains searching for predators and grazers on a game drive. This Park is known to have the highest biodiversity of any protected area in East Africa. Return to the lodge for lunch after which you will take a boat safari on Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This offers an excellent opportunity for photography moments of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants and magnificent bird species by the water.

Today morning after a relaxed breakfast, we will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through Ishasha the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park. You will be able to see various mammals and bird species and on a lucky day, you will see the rare tree-climbing lions. We shall proceed with the journey to the home of the gentle giants of the Mountain gorillas. The journey takes us through the terraced hills of Kigezi highlands with lunch en-route in Kihihi. Upon arrival at your lodge, you will take your well-deserved rest as you wait for dinner to be served and overnight stay.

Early morning breakfast, then prepare for the ultimate gorilla trekking. You will be driven to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search for the gentle giants and enjoy their lifestyle in their habitant. After an encounter with the mountain gorillas, you can sit around them for an hour watching them as you take countless photographs. On this gorilla expedition, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed snacks, insect repellent, sunscreen, hut and drinking water. The gorilla trekking experience takes almost 3-7hrs depending on the movements. Later you will return to your lodge for a hot lunch and check-out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, while here you will spend the rest of the evening relaxing by the lake or any other optional activities.
